Importance Of Praying Salah On-Time in Islam
learning

We all know there are 5 Pillars of Islam, and Salah is the second pillar of Islam. When somebody prays, he/she is recognized as a Muslim. A true Muslim worships none, but Allah (SWT), the creator. Salah has many benefits, one of them is that it's the way of communication with Allah (SWT), and every Muslim should strictly follow this.

As Allah (SWT) has said in the Holy Quran, "Guard strictly [on] the prayers, and the prayer – [the] middle, and stand up for Allah devoutly obedient." (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:238)

Importance of praying Salah on time

Salah is obligatory on every Muslim to pray five times a day on time. Importance of praying Salah on time can be understood by these hadith:

"Abdullah asked the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) "Which deed is the dearest to Allah?" He replied, "To offer the prayers at their early stated fixed times." (Sahih al-Bukhari 527).

As Narrated by Ibn Umar, Allah's Messenger said: "The beginning of the time for Salah is pleasing to Allah, and the end of its time is pardoned by Allah." (Jami at-Tirmidhi 172), so don't you want to begin the prayer on time and at earliest to please your Almighty, without which you cannot attain the place in Jannah.

It can also be understood by these Quranic verses:

"Surely the Salah at fixed hours (of the day and night) has been enjoined upon the believers." (Quran 4:103).

"Verily, Salah restrains (oneself) from shameful and unjust deeds…" (Quran 29:45).

A human being is created weak and can be deviated from righteousness very easily without seeking from Allah. So don't you want to seek Allah's help to refrain yourself from evil effect? The earlier you pray and if you pray on time, Allah will guide you and shall refrain you from sinning.

We being a Muslim need to prepare for our akhirah and always do a good deed. We never know when our soul will leave our body and life after death is eternal. Therefore we should pray Salah on time, and our best effort should be in the direction of praying Salah in the early hour.

As we all know that without remembering Allah (SWT), we cannot find peace and eternal satisfaction and the best way to remember Allah (SWT) is Salah.

A human being is neglectful in their busy lifestyle and leave the Salah or do it late.  But we must be aware that Salah is obligatory for us we should try to do on its due time. If we don't offer Salah on time, then we don't only indulge in the sin, but we fall at lowest depths of moral depravity. Allah takes strict action against those who don't offer Salah, which can be understood by this verse of the Quran.

"They were succeeded by a people who neglected the Prayers and pursued their lusts. They shall presently meet with their doom..." (Quran 19:59)
